Bio
Jacob Cureton is a chef, carpenter, painter, and sculptor born in Mobile, Alabama, and raised in Fairhope. With a rich history across the Gulf Coast-including Orange Beach, Bon Secour, Gulf Breeze, and now New Orleans-Jacob's lifelong passion for the arts began with a career as a ClA-trained chef, driven by a desire to craft visually captivating cuisine. This eventually sparked his transition into visual art. A self-taught artist, his work spans oil painting, woodworking, and
sculpture. His inspiration is deeply rooted in his Gulf Coast upbringing, especially the herons and waterbirds that remind him of his Grandma's house in Orange Beach. His art reflects a deep connection to the water, evoking the nostalgia of summers spent on the bayou and Gulf Coast beaches.
